The Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Council are very concerned about the recent fatal accidents in the construction industry involving work in confined spaces.
 
2.        In view of the above, we will a webinar will be organizing a webinar on 30 December 2021 (Thursday) from 3:00pm to 4:30pm with speakers from the Labour Department and industry stakeholders to introduce relevant precautionary measures and good practices and appeal to stakeholders to take a holistic review on the safety management system, with a view to minimizing the recurrence of similar accidents.  The flyer of the webinar is enclosed for your easy reference, please.
